Topic: CARE2: Clarity and Accountability Result in Effective and Efficient Care
CARE2 focuses on core leadership concepts combined with hands-on exercises that a medical practice executive can take back to their respective organizations to support transformative activities within the practice. CARE2 stands for Clarity and Accountability Result in Effective and Efficient CARE. Debra created this acronym out of years of experience to define the art and heart of medical practice leadership. The concepts of clarity, accountability, effectiveness and efficiency are the cornerstones of good practice administration and this presentation expands on those concepts from a positive perspective in an industry that is being strained by inordinate administrative burden. As practice executives in orthopedics it is our opportunity to create an environment that influences the ongoing application of these four concepts and helps to transform the way the business of care influences the practice of medicine. Debra combines multiple learning modalities, from video to audience participation to real life experiences with a dose of humor(and sometimes irony), giving the attendees take aways that can be applied when they return to their own practices.
This program will provide attendees the following learning objectives:
- • Outline the importance of clarity and accountability in leadership
- • Acquire tools to help create an environment of clarity and accountability
- • Define the opportunities to use clarity and accountability to influence the culture of the organization
